Die Cut Handle Plastic Bags is a common and practical packaging for items. The following is the design process structure:
1. Overall structure
Bag body
Material: Polyethylene (PE) is usually selected, such as low-density polyethylene (LDPE), which is soft, transparent, and smooth to the touch, making the plastic bag have good flexibility and convenient for holding various items; high-density polyethylene (HDPE) has higher hardness and strength, can withstand heavier items, and is often used in packaging scenarios that require higher load-bearing capacity.
Shape: Mainly rectangular, this regular shape is convenient for large-scale production and efficient stacking and storage. At the same time, the rectangular design can well adapt to items of various shapes and sizes. Whether it is a square gift box, a round bottle or an irregularly shaped product, it can be put into the bag more regularly.
Bottom
Flat bottom structure: The most basic and common, simple to make, allows the plastic bag to be placed steadily on a flat surface. However, its support capacity for heavy objects is limited. If it holds too heavy objects, the bottom may be deformed due to uneven force.
Bottom cover plus folding edge structure: By folding the bottom cover and adding folding edges, the strength and stability of the bottom are greatly enhanced. This structure can better disperse the weight and is suitable for packaging heavier items, such as multiple bottles of beverages, books, etc., effectively preventing the bottom from breaking.
2. Die-cutting hand-held structure
Hand-held hole design
Position: Generally located on both sides or the top of the bag body, the two sides are convenient for carrying with both hands, dispersing the weight, making it easier to carry; the top single-handed hand-held hole design is more suitable for one-handed carrying, which is convenient for consumers to operate when walking or shopping.
Shape: Common shapes include round, oval, square, etc. The round hand-held hole has a smooth edge, which can reduce friction on the hand and is more comfortable to carry for a long time; the oval hand-held hole is relatively more in line with the contour of the hand, increases the contact area with the hand, and disperses the pressure; the square hand-held hole is relatively simple in design and the manufacturing process is relatively simple.
Die-cutting process
Precise cutting: Using the die-cutting process, the shape and size of the hand-held hole can be accurately cut through the pre-made mold. This process ensures the consistency and accuracy of each hand-held hole, and ensures the quality and aesthetics of the product.
Edge treatment: The edges of the handle holes after die-cutting are usually polished or heat-sealed to eliminate sharp edges and prevent scratches on the hands during use. Heat sealing can also reinforce the edges and enhance the durability of the handle holes, making them less likely to tear when bearing heavy objects.
3. Other designs and processes
Printing process
Gravure printing: It can achieve high-precision, high-definition pattern and text printing with bright colors and rich layers. It is often used to print brand logos, product slogans, exquisite patterns, etc., which can effectively enhance the visual appeal and brand image of plastic bags.
Flexographic printing: It has low cost and fast printing speed, and is suitable for printing some simple patterns and texts. With the development of technology, the quality of flexographic printing has been continuously improved, which can meet the packaging and printing requirements of some mid- and low-end products.
Surface treatment
Laminating: Laminating the surface of the plastic bag with glossy or matte film. Laminating with glossy film makes the surface of the plastic bag bright and enhances the visual impact; laminating with matte film gives it a low-key and high-end texture. At the same time, both can improve the wear resistance and waterproofness of the plastic bag and extend its service life.
Perforation for ventilation: For some product packaging that needs to be breathable, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, etc., holes will be punched in the plastic bag. These small holes can ensure air circulation and prevent the product from deteriorating due to lack of oxygen or excessive humidity.
